Library synopsis: [It] Svaligiata una banca in Arizona, per acquistare le armi necessarie a contrastare la guerra di sterminio che il generale Verdugo conduce contro gli indiani Yaqui della provincia messicana di Sonora, il mezzo-sangue Joe viene catturato dal generale stesso con l’aiuto dello sceriffo negro Lyedecker, venuto dagli Stati Uniti per arrestarlo; ma per la cupidigia di Verdugo, che ha saputo di una taglia di seimila dollari pendenti sul capo di Joe, Lyedecker viene fatto anch’egli prigioniero insieme a quello che avrebbe dovuto essere la sua vittima. Giunti di fronte al plotone di esecuzione, i due vengono però salvati da un gruppo di indiani capeggiati da una intrepida donna: Sarita. Commosso dalla sorte degli Yaqui, Lyedecker decide di battersi per loro: impadronitosi di un treno corazzato appartenente all’esercito messicano muove insieme agli indiani verso Sonora, dove si trovano le truppe governative, sconfiggendole. Il generale viene linciato ma anche Sarita muore. Rinunciando alla sua preda Lyedecker torna al suo paese mentre Joe si pone alla testa dei rivoluzionari, per continuare la lotta.
