Library synopsis: [It] La seconda guerra dei persiani contro la Grecia è in atto e Serse avanza col suo poderoso esercito. I rappresentanti degli stati greci a congresso ascoltano la parola di Temistocle e tra i pochi che raccolgono l’appello dell’alleanza c’è Leonida, re di Sparta. Leonida torna nella sua città per radunare l’esercito ma la festa religiosa delle Carnee ne impedisce la partenza.
