Three shifty sailors commandeer a smallpox-ridden boat and set out to sea. A typhoon washes them ashore on a faraway Pacific island, which is ruled by a white religious fanatic (Lloyd Nolan) who has set himself up as the local god.
Cadets of St. Martin Synopsis
A company is accused of selling products that are harmful to health. The son of one of the partners, a cadet from the Lyceum, is expelled from the school because of the scandal and his father kills himself.
"Ebb Tide" holds a slight edge in general audience appreciation, but "Cadets of St. Martin" offers its own unique cult appeal.
