Five and Ten Cent Annie Synopsis
Street cleaner Elmer Peck will inherit a million dollars from his uncle Adam if he retains his uncle's valet, Briggs, until he marries and if he appears at the office of the probate judge at 5 p.m. on an appointed day. Complications arise as a result of the valet's determination to ruin the arrangement and the equal determination of Elmer and his sweetheart Annie to ensure that he doesn't.
