Miss Suwanna of Siam Synopsis
A young woman named Suwanna is the object of affection for many men. In her search for true love, she has many adventures and mishaps, including overcoming her father's disapproval, before finally finding her soul-mate. Miss Suwanna of Siam, or Nang Sao Suwan, was one of first feature films to be made in Thailand, and was the first Hollywood co-production in Thailand.
The Bronze Bride Synopsis
A white fur-trapper, Harvey Ogden (Frank Mayo) takes an Indian maiden, A-Che-Chee (Claire McDowell), as his bride, a union that meets with much disapproval when they return to civilization. But their child, a boy (Frankie Lee) helps bring about many adjustments to the attitudes of the civilized people.
"Miss Suwanna of Siam" holds a slight edge in general audience appreciation, but "The Bronze Bride" offers its own unique cult appeal.
