A wife uses the pretext, that her American husband refuses to kiss her on the lips, to divorce him. Later after she is remarried he tries in vain to win her back.
Songs of Scotland Synopsis
A Scots lass parts regretfully from her lad as he goes to make his mark in the world. The lad meets an old man who warns him against leaving his beloved. He returns to her and they are married. Then the old man, who loves the girl's mother, asks that she be his wife. Thereafter another marriage is arranged.
"Pas sur la bouche" holds a slight edge in general audience appreciation, but "Songs of Scotland" offers its own unique cult appeal.
