Lewis Dumont, a Northern officer in the American Civil War, works undercover behind Confederate lines in an attempt to lead Southern forces away from an area in which a Northern attack is planned. But Dumont falls in love with a Southern girl and when she proves useful to his plan, his conscience begins to tear at him.
The Morals of Marcus Synopsis
Carlotta grows up in a Turkish harem and upon turning 18 finds out that her foster father plans to sell her to an old Turk. An Englishman helps her escape to Britain, but he is arrested upon their arrival.
"Secret Service" holds a slight edge in general audience appreciation, but "The Morals of Marcus" offers its own unique cult appeal.
