Tars and Stripes Synopsis
Elmer Doolittle (Buster Keaton), an apprentice seaman doing training at the U. S. Navy's San Diego Training Station, can't seem to keep out of trouble or the brig. Most of his problems derive from the fact that Dorothy (Dorothea Kent), the girlfriend of Gunner's Mate Richard Mack (Vernon Dent) has taken a liking to Elmer.
The Hundredth Chance Synopsis
A lady marries a horse trainer but withholds herself until her crippled brother is cured.
"Tars and Stripes" holds a slight edge in general audience appreciation, but "The Hundredth Chance" offers its own unique cult appeal.
