The Darktown Revue Synopsis
A traditional minstrel show with an all black cast. It shows a choir singing and a vaudeville act of a comedy duo. It also levels criticism at a certain social class of the African-American community by using some racial stereotypes.
Kids Is Kids Synopsis
A young married couple volunteer to take charge of several orphans after the asylum has burned down. Of course they find their hands full with their troublesome charges.
"The Darktown Revue" holds a slight edge in general audience appreciation, but "Kids Is Kids" offers its own unique cult appeal.
