In order to find out who's behind a cattle rustling operation that's hurting ranchers, a detective for the Cattleman's Protective Association pretends to be a tenderfoot from back east who's just arrived in the area and doesn't know how to ride, rope or shoot.
His Majesty, the American Synopsis
A man goes to Mexico and tangles with bandits. He's then called to a tiny European country where a revolution is going on. It turns out that he is heir to the throne and he manages to squelch the plotters and win the girl in short order.
"The Man from Painted Post" holds a slight edge in general audience appreciation, but "His Majesty, the American" offers its own unique cult appeal.
