The boys go to meet the new school-teacher. She proves to be a beautiful young girl, who attracts the whole community, regardless of the age-line, to her school. A mysterious man appears and sells engagement rings of doubtful value to all her suitors. He turns out to be her husband, but instead of escaping with his wife, takes another girl and leaves the beautiful school teacher to the hero.
