A young man is pursued by his fiancee after a quarrel. She sends her uncle to investigate him and to give his consent to the marriage. The young man gives a wild party in order to shock the uncle but he enjoys himself thoroughly.
His Royal Slyness Synopsis
An American book salesman (Lloyd) is persuaded to go to the kingdom of Thermosa to impersonate the Prince. He is greeted by a peasants' revolt before the real prince shows up to claim his throne and princess. The revolution succeeds, and the American is elected president of the new republic.
"This'll Make You Whistle" holds a slight edge in general audience appreciation, but "His Royal Slyness" offers its own unique cult appeal.
