Biography

Born in Gyömrõ, Hungary, on 14 October 1878, Aladár Fodor emerged as a notable figure in early cinema, skillfully balancing the roles of producer and director. His creative output, though brief, was impactful, particularly in 1914, a year that saw the release of three of his key works: 'Pufi - Hogyan lett ünnepelt hös egy jámbor pesti férjböl?', 'Böském', and 'A 300 éves ember'. Fodor's trajectory in the film world was regrettably short-lived, as he passed away on 3 July 1918 in Vienna, a city then within Austria-Hungary, now recognized as Austria.
