Dimitrios Kaminakis

Biography

Dimitris Kaminakis was a Greek filmmaker and cinematographer active in the early years of Greek cinema. He is credited as the director of The Last Days of Odysseas Androutsos (1928), the first Greek film about the 1821 revolution. He is also associated with two other films, Iphigenia en Avlidi and O Listarhos Giagoulas, though it is unclear whether these projects were completed.
