Biography
Béziers, Hérault, greeted the dawn of 24 March 1878 by welcoming Gaston Roudès into the world; nearly eight decades later, on 5 November 1958, Villejuif, Val-de-Marne, closed the final reel on his life. Between those two dates he carved out a place behind the camera, guiding stories such as the spy intrigue Féliana l’espionne (1924), the dream-laden drama L’âme de Pierre (1928), and the awakening-themed L’éveil (1924) from script to screen.
