Biography
Harry Harvey first drew breath on 4 June 1873 amid the clang and clamor of New York City. Behind the camera and in front of it, he shaped silent-era stories such as the 1918 jungle adventure The Lion's Claws and the 1917 maritime thriller The Mystery Ship, while also guiding audiences through the drama of Feet of Clay the same year. Off-screen, he shared his life with a woman named Beatrice, whose surname the records keep to themselves. His final curtain fell in Los Angeles on 5 April 1929.
