Biography
Long before CGI, Oreste Gherardini stepped before the hand-cranked cameras and let silence speak: in 1909 he fought beside Spartacus, in 1913 he shadowed a detective’s daughter, and by 1914 he was guarding the Gems of Foscarina. Three titles, three years—an entire lost world of flicker and nitrate.
