Biography
Before the talkies ever drew breath, Ada Clyde had already etched her silhouette into the flicker of early Australian cinema: she faced the surf’s fury in 1912’s The Tide of Death, carried the scandalous secrets of 1914’s The Silence of Dean Maitland, and returned—nearly a decade later—to the bush comedy of Rudd’s New Selection in 1921.
