Biography
Before the talkies had found their voice, Alexia Ventura was already haunting the screen. In 1915 she stepped into the eerie glow of Elva, then, a year later, slipped behind the cloaked secrecy of La secta de los misteriosos (1916). By 1917 she sealed her fate with El beso de la muerte, leaving audiences breathless in the flicker of silent candlelight.
