Biography
Alexis Luce, a veteran stage actor, was born in Bucksport, Maine, in the 1880s. He appeared in stock and regional theatre all around the country, but was only in one silent film. Luce, after the death of his wife, married Laura Bullivant, the widow of noted character actor Dwight Frye, in Boston on August 15, 1946. Luce passed away in his childhood hometown of Bucksport in November 1968.
