Amina Rizk was a prominent Egyptian actress whose career spanned over seven decades, making her one of the most enduring figures in Arab cinema and theatre and a cultural icon whose legacy had an influence on Egyptian drama and film. Born in Tanta, Egypt, she moved to Cairo at a young age and began acting in the 1920s alongside her aunt, the actress Amina Mohamed.
