Biography
Amy Summers first drew breath on 2 August 1880 in the coal-country town of Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania. By her early thirties she had stepped before the camera, lending her presence to The County Chairman and The Lost Paradise, both released in 1914, and later to the 1920 melodrama The Deep Purple. Off-screen, she shared her life with actor Byron Ongley. Her own final curtain fell in New York City on 2 December 1926.
