Biography
Before talkies had found their voice, Angelita Blanco had already etched hers onto the silent fabric of early Spanish cinema. In 1915 she stepped into the gas-lit alleys of *Los misterios de Barcelona*, letting flickering gestures speak where words could not. Two years later, 1917 found her again before the hand-cranked cameras, this time unraveling the secrets of *El testamento de Diego Rocafort*. Though the screens were small and the prints have long since turned to dust, her presence—captured in those whirring frames—still flickers like a match struck in the dark of film history.
