In 1915, while Europe’s attention was swallowed by the Great War, the camera briefly turned to Angelov, who stepped before it for “Balgaran e galant.” One fleeting role, one flickering year, and the new art of moving pictures claimed him forever—his name surviving where the rest of the century tried to forget.
