Known for his ability to transform his face to convey a full range of emotions, Marikos earned wide acclaim, giving an honorary performance at the Municipal Theatre of Athens in 1904. His skill and charm made him one of the most respected comic actors of his time. He later transitioned to cinema, appearing in several early Greek films, including Blue Candles (1930), The Song of the Flute (1930), and Stella Violanti (1931), alongside Eleni Papadaki and Rita Myrat.
