Biography
In 1914, while Europe’s attention was fixed on barbed wire and bombardments, a fresh-faced B. Forest stepped in front of the camera to play the lead in *Shannon of the Sixth*, a silent one-reel romance that sent audiences home humming. The picture vanished almost as quickly as it appeared, but Forest’s fleeting turn as the story’s dashing cadet earned him a footnote in the birth of American cinema.
