Biography
Née in Pueblo, Colorado, on 6 February 1908, Carmen De Rue—known affectionately as “Baby”—began her film career with a role in *The Squaw Man* (1914). She went on to appear in the 1917 releases *Cheerful Givers* and *Jack and the Beanstalk*. Later, she married Fred Vincent Schrott. De Rue spent her final years in California and died in North Hollywood on 28 September 1986.
