Barrie O'Daniels

Biography

Barrie O'Daniels, 81, actor/producer/director died March 8 in Cozumel, Mexico. He was raised in Wyoming where in 1930 he was one of the founders of the still-flourishing Cheyenne Little Theatre Players. He was actively involved inn the theater throughout his life, as an actor at the Pasadena Playhouse, as a director for the Shuberts, and as a producer of musical comedy and Light Opera in Detroit and Chicago. During World War II he directed crews assigned to produce shows for the troops in the US and Europe. In later years, he was active in training executives of the Ford Motor Co in speech communication. He is survived by his wife and daughter, Kathleen O'Daniels.
