Biography
Northampton, 26 July 1887: the day the curtain first rose on Belle Daube. By 1915 she had stepped before the camera in Judy Forgot, launching a screen career that flickered through the silent whimsy of A Virtuous Vamp (1919) and roared into the aviation serial Tailspin Tommy (1934). Off-screen, she shared her life with Jacques Vinmont. Her final scene played out in Hollywood, California, on 25 May 1959.
