Biography
Bianchina De Crescenzo stepped before the camera only a handful of times, yet each appearance left a small, bright scratch on the silent era’s emulsion. In 1914 she shimmered through *Gems of Foscarina*, the same year she earned a tongue-in-cheek promotion in *Promozione per... meriti personali*. Two years later she slipped into medieval Italy as the title character of *Ferréol* (1916), then vanished from the frame, letting the projectors keep spinning without her.
