Biography
Boots Wall stepped before the camera when movies were still finding their voice, slipping into three now-legendary silents: she appeared in the 1913 adaptation of Tess of the D’Urbervilles, followed a year later by Uncle Tom’s Cabin, and rounded out the trio in 1915 with Always in the Way.
