Biography
A canine star trotted out of the kennels of Turin and onto the silent screen, stealing scenes as early as 1914 when he played the loyal sparrow-sidekick in The Sparrow. Seven years—and a few well-earned biscuits—later, he padded into the prison-yard drama of L’ombra del buon forzato and then slithered through the desert menace of La vendetta dei serpi, both released in 1921.
