Biography
Hailing from Ireland, Charles Manley began his life on September 25, 1830. He would become an actor, leaving his mark on the burgeoning world of cinema through roles in pioneering films such as Uncle Josh in a Spooky Hotel (1900), Uncle Josh's Nightmare (1900), and Uncle Josh at the Moving Picture Show (1902). In his personal journey, Manley was married to Amelia Badeau Marcher and also to a woman known simply as Marie. His long life drew to a close in Los Angeles, California, USA, on February 26, 1916.
