Biography
Copenhagen greeted Charles Willumsen on 3 February 1866, and by 1913 he had stepped before the camera to embody the iron-willed tycoon in *The Steel King's Last Wish*. Five years later he returned to the screen twice in quick succession, first as the ardent courtier of *Prinsessens Tilbeder*, then as the pivotal figure in *Præstens Datter*. After four decades of performance, the curtain fell on 2 April 1951.
