Biography
Clementina Gay first stepped before the camera in 1910, bringing The Judas Money—set during the War in Vendee—to life as part of one of the era’s earliest historical shorts. A year later she pounced onto screens in The Human Tiger, and by 1915 she had slipped into the muscular world of Marvelous Maciste, proving her range spanned from fierce melodrama to sword-and-sandal spectacle.
