Biography
Clyde Tracy, a man immersed in the visual arts, cultivated a career as both a commercial artist and a set designer. His professional journey led him to a Chicago art school, where, as an instructor, he encountered Florence Myers, the woman who would become his wife. Their creative synergy extended beyond the classroom; together, they captivated vaudeville audiences with their spirited quick sketch act. This artistic partnership eventually drew them westward, migrating to Hollywood around 1914. However, their union, both on and off stage, was short-lived, culminating in a divorce approximately a year later, around 1915. This biographical insight is preserved through the personal recollections of Florence Myers' daughter.
