Biography
Cristina Ruspoli stepped before the camera when cinema itself was still learning to breathe, leaving her silhouette in three of Italy’s earliest epics: she wanders through the ash of *The Last Days of Pompeii* (1913), navigates tangled hearts in *The Betrotched* that same year, and by 1916 slips into the title role of *L’avventura di Claudina*.
