Biography
Dan Moyles arrived on the scene in 1873 and, four decades later, stepped before the camera during the frantic birth of feature films. Between lighting rigs and hand-cranked cameras, he slipped into three 1915 releases—Who's Who in Society, Stop Thief!, and The Commuters—delivering performances that flickered across nickelodeon screens while audiences were still learning to hush when the titles rolled. The curtain finally fell for him on 25 September 1933, in New York City, the same restless town that had once cheered him on from orchestra seats.
