Biography
Dionysios Venieris stepped in front of the camera twice—first in 1915 to bring the shepherdess Golfo to life on the earliest Greek celluloid, then again fifteen years later for the crime drama Gia tin agapi tis—two appearances that stitched his name forever into the fabric of Greek silent cinema.
