Biography
Copenhagen, 20 November 1874: the city welcomed a restless storyteller named Doris Langkilde. She stepped before the camera in 1913 to defend the innocent in *Unjustly Accused*, reappeared two years later to complicate a man’s life in *Kvinden, han mødte*, and in 1916 peered into the supernatural as *Spiritisten*. Off-screen she shared her life—and name—with Oscar Langkilde. The final curtain fell on 30 April 1946, but the reels keep her moving.
