Biography
A late-summer baby of 1867, Edgar Keller first drew breath among the redwoods of Crescent City, California. He grew into a storyteller who split his time between scripting tales and stepping in front of the camera, leaving flickering footprints in The Yellow Girl (1916), Jesse James Under the Black Flag (1921), and Traffic in Hearts (1924). On a winter morning—10 January 1932—his final scene played out in Los Angeles, the city that had become his professional playground.
