Biography
Sixteen September 1874 marked the first breath of Edward Puchalski, a filmmaker who would one day pull audiences into the shadows of treachery with *Iuda, koronovannyy predatel Bolgarii* (1917). Between that debut and the hushed intimacies of *O czym sie nie mówi* (1924), Puchalski shaped stories like a watchmaker—every gear of dialogue clicking into place. A decade later he unveiled *Pod Twoja obrone* (1933), proving his lens still knew how to search a soul. Warsaw, his longtime stage, became his final set when he stepped out of life’s frame on 8 November 1942.
