Biography
Edward Walton stepped before the camera in the flickering dawn of American film, lending his presence to three one-reel thrillers now whispered about only in archives: the 1914 counterfeit-caper The $5,000,000 Counterfeiting Plot, its companion release When Sorrow Fades the same year, and 1915’s jewel-heist short The Crogmere Ruby. After the credits rolled on those early silents, he slipped from public view; on 30 April 1925 he made his final exit in New York City, the same metropolis that had once brimmed with nickelodeon dreams.
