Biography
A native of Los Angeles, Elmer Booth entered the world on December 9, 1882, eventually establishing himself as a versatile talent in the early days of cinema. Both a performer and a scribe, he left his mark on the silent era with notable contributions to 'Why He Gave Up' (1911), 'Abe Gets Even with Father' (1911), and 'His Auto's Maiden Trip' (1912). In his personal life, he was the husband of Irene Outtrim. Booth’s promising career and life in Southern California were cut short when he passed away in his home city on June 16, 1915.
