Biography
San Francisco greeted the world with Emanuel A. Turner on 1 March 1884. By 1916 he had slipped in front of the camera, spinning thrills for The Tarantula and dashing through the serial adventures of The Scarlet Runner. Four years later he faced the battle of the sexes in Are All Men Alike? before the lights finally dimmed. Turner’s final curtain fell in Hollywood on 14 December 1941.
