Biography
Émile Mylo first drew breath on 6 May 1889 amid the silk-weaving alleyways of Lyon, Rhône. Within a decade he had stepped before the camera, lending his face to the epic two-part Les Misérables (1913) and, twelve years later, to the brisk comedy of manners Madame Sans-Gêne (1925). His screen career was brief but indelible, and it ended quietly when he passed away in Paris on 29 May 1952.
