Biography
Born in 1881, Erik Holberg stepped before the Danish cameras at the height of silent cinema’s fever dream. In 1916 alone he twice slipped into the shadowy world of *Manden med de ni Fingre*, appearing in both its third and fourth installments, then rounded off the era by haunting 1917’s *Midnatssjælen*. When the final reel of his life spooled to black in 1937, the screen dimmed on an actor whose face—though now flickering only in archives—once thrilled early moviegoers.
