Biography
A native of Manhattan, Ethel Corcoran entered the world on October 28, 1893, eventually carving out a legacy in the early days of the silver screen. She is best remembered for her contributions to silent cinema, most notably in the 1915 features A Price for Folly and The Goddess, as well as the 1916 production The Scarlet Runner. After a long life spanning nearly a century, Corcoran passed away in her home state of New York on July 29, 1988.
