Biography
Ethel Lee stepped in front of the camera just as Hollywood was learning to talk in pictures. In 1914 she played the object of scholarly affection in “The Professor’s Romance,” then bounced straight into two 1915 one-reelers—the mischievous romp “Crooky” and the arrow-slinging farce “Cupid’s Column”—before the curtain fell on her brief but bright flicker in silent cinema.
