Biography
Eugene De Rue was born on 21 August 1885 in Pueblo, Colorado. A filmmaker who worked both as director and assistant director, he is remembered for silent classics such as *The Squaw Man* (1914), *Our Alley* (1923) and *The Thrill Hunter* (1926). He was married to Irene and Grace. De Rue died on 29 September 1985 in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California.
